Send children on life-changing travel experiences

Many of the students at Bayside/MLK School in Marin City, CA have never been on an airplane or even traveled beyond California. Most of them live in subsidized housing and below the poverty line. These middle schoolers are headed to Tamalpais High School and will soon be in a high school environment with kids who have been afforded many more life-enriching experiences. Growth Circles was formed to inspire MLK/Bayside’s 5th-8th graders to think bigger and achieve more. Through a series of educational trips and scholarship opportunities, teachers and school supporters hope to give students a changed world outlook through experiences that encourage students to move out of their comfort zones into life-expanding “growth circles.”
